Beautifully artistic and dark, this is a unique platformer that I very much enjoyed. Though, while I was on whole impressed by the games mechanics and ingenuity at drawing the player into its shadowed atmosphere, there are a few things that I was looking for and didnt find. First of all, it is a short game (2 to 6 hours), and has little replayability due to the nature of the puzzles. In addition, there is very little story, and while one could see the plot as "open to interpretation" I felt as though there was nothing to connect the player to the character. Finally, I thought that the game started very strong, but dwindled near the end, going from the fear of being chased by a man-eating spider, to the mundanity of pushing boxes into the right places. That all said, this game is certainly a work of art, and even during the "mundanity of pushing boxes", its eerie atmosphere keeps the player engaged.
